GRATIAS AGIT Awarded to SVU Members
On 23rd June 2005, Cernin Palace hosted the GRATIAS AGIT Awards ceremony.
The minister of foreign affairs of the Czech Republic, Mr. Cyril Svoboda awarded the 2005 GRATIAS AGIT Awards to 19 laureates.
Since 1997, GRATIAS AGIT Awards are awarded to personalities and organizations of cultural, social, and economic life, which make
a significant contribution to promotion of the Czech Republic abroad.
Our congratulations to all 2005 laureates, especially to SVU members: Tomas Bata, Jr., and Petr and Vera Biskovi.
Among organizations, the 2005 Award went to the Czech Komensky Club of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, represented by Mila Saskova-Pierce and Charles Svagera.
